Description

Ritual Specialist 75 – advanced drag-flick stick

The Specialist 75 is the advanced model of the drag-flick line. 75% carbon stiffens the head and increases release spring, while the ball-guiding moulded scoop and low bow point keep the character of the whole Specialist series.

Who it is for

For players taking penalty-corner drag flicks at league level who need more release power than the Specialist 55.

Construction and specification

Composition: 75% carbon, 20% fibreglass, 5% aramid (Kevlar)
Bow: ultra-low curve for drag flick
Bow point: 220 mm (low bow)
Profile: aggressive, 24 mm; 24 mm bow height
Ball-guiding moulded scoop on the lower shaft

The higher stiffness over the Specialist 55 shortens the energy-return time from the laminate, giving a faster release on the same drag-flick path. In exchange the stick needs surer technique when trapping and carrying.

Available variants

The advanced model of the Specialist line (2026 season). At the top: Specialist 95 and Specialist Revolution.

About Ritual

Ritual Hockey is an Australian brand based in Mount Martha on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. It was founded by Nathaniel (Nat) Nelson, who spent 15 years in management, retail and product development at international hockey brands before starting his own company. The gear is designed in Australia and tested by players with international experience. The company stresses that there are no generic sticks in its range: each model is built for a specific style of play. Ritual sticks come in the 95, 75 and 55 series and the Revolution line, with Velocity, Specialist, Ultra, Finesse and Response models within them. Precision models are aimed at juniors and indoor play, and Reflex at goalkeepers. The range is completed by bags, gloves (such as the Vapor) and clothing.

Not sure which size to choose? The size guide has a stick length chart based on height, plus guidance on shinguards, gloves and footwear.

Sizing differs between brands. If the product comes with a manufacturer size chart, go by the measurements in centimetres rather than the size letter alone.
