The Osaka Low Bow Advanced 40 is a composite field hockey stick for the 2026 season, built from 35% carbon, 60% fibreglass and 5% Kevlar. This layup produces a soft, forgiving flex - the stick returns energy on the hit yet does not punish an imperfect strike, which suits players still developing their technique.
Who it is for
Aimed at intermediate players moving up from glass sticks to their first stick with a real carbon share. The Low Bow profile supports close ball carrying, drag-flicking and hitting off the forehand, so it works well for forwards and midfielders building a technical game.

The Low Bow profile has a 24 mm bow depth, with the apex 200 mm from the head. This bow position makes 3D ball control and lifting the ball into drag-flicks easier.
