The NKD Zeme 50 is a mid bow field hockey stick with 50% carbon. The mid bow profile - with the deepest point of the curve in the middle of the shaft - favours the basics: hitting and the push pass. It is a stick for players who mainly hit and pass.

Who it is for

A player developing core technique, a defender, or anyone who values a predictable all-round profile. A mid bow is easier to master than a low bow.

The Osaka Low Bow Advanced 40 is a composite field hockey stick for the 2026 season, built from 35% carbon, 60% fibreglass and 5% Kevlar. This layup produces a soft, forgiving flex - the stick returns energy on the hit yet does not punish an imperfect strike, which suits players still developing their technique.

Who it is for

Aimed at intermediate players moving up from glass sticks to their first stick with a real carbon share. The Low Bow profile supports close ball carrying, drag-flicking and hitting off the forehand, so it works well for forwards and midfielders building a technical game.

Construction and specifications

The Low Bow profile has a 24 mm bow depth, with the apex 200 mm from the head. This bow position makes 3D ball control and lifting the ball into drag-flicks easier. The lower carbon share (35%) reduces stiffness against elite models - the stick absorbs receptions better at the cost of some hitting power.
