The Osaka Armadillo is a protective field hockey hand glove designed for protection at short corners and in close-contact play. Its multilayer build combines hard plastic shells with cushioning foam.

Construction and specifications
Protection is based on 11 composite plastic shells combined with 2 types of foam, including EVA foam – overlapping materials cover all vulnerable areas of the hand. Rubberised straps secure the fingers, and a backhand protection plate shields the back of the hand.
