Atomic with a Carbon Quotient of 60 is a solid mid-range stick. The carbon content is enough to feel energy return and hit harder, and the extreme low DII profile lets you learn 3D technique - lifts and drag flicks - without paying for a top stick.

The NKD Extreme 50 is a field hockey stick with an extreme late bow (X-Late Bow) and a concave shaft, designed for drag flicking. It is a specialist weapon for players training penalty-corner lifts - the 50% carbon content makes it more accessible than the 100% version.

The NKD Supreme Jr is the junior version of the low bow stick with 30% carbon. It carries the Supreme low bow profile into a lighter, shorter build for young players learning to flick and control the ball.

The Osaka Low Bow Advanced 70 is a 2026-season composite field hockey stick with a 65% carbon share (including an outer layer of Japanese Silver 3K carbon), 30% fibreglass and 5% Kevlar. The higher carbon content raises stiffness and responsiveness over the 40 model - the stick returns more energy on the hit and the drag-flick.

Who it is for

For advanced players training regularly who want a harder hit and fast ball carrying without losing feel. The Low Bow profile rewards close dribbling, drag-flicking and lifted passes.

Construction and specifications

The Low Bow profile has a 24 mm bow depth, with the apex 200 mm from the head, which aids 3D ball control and accurate, powerful drag-flicks. The outer Japanese Silver 3K carbon layer improves the stiffness-to-weight ratio. The stick weighs 505-525 g with a balance point of 39.0-40.0 cm - a head-biased balance that favours fast wrist work.
