We are live! The Field Hockey Zone store is open – and tomorrow we meet in Rogowo

The day has finally come: the Field Hockey Zone store is officially open!

From today you can order sticks, goalkeeping equipment, protection, bags, balls and accessories for field and indoor hockey at fieldhockeyzone.com. Orders placed on working days by 3 p.m. ship the same day – your parcel arrives the next working day. The range will grow week by week as new deliveries arrive.

And since good things come in pairs – tomorrow the 59th Klemens Maciaszczyk Memorial kicks off in Rogowo, where we make our debut with our own stand. Yesterday we promised the programme of activities, so here it is.

The FHZ stand – Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.

You will find us right next to the LKS Rogowo pitch on both tournament days (29–30 August), from 9 a.m. until the final match ends. Matches start at 12:00 on Saturday and 10:00 on Sunday – we open earlier so the kids have time to play before the first whistle.

At the stand we bring the equipment we have on the shelf in Rogowo: sticks and accessories from Gryphon, Ritual, NKD and Osaka. Everything can be picked up, weighed in the hand and tried out – and we will advise which stick length, weight and stiffness suits your age, height and playing style.

A pitch for kids – 6 × 9 metres of artificial turf

Next to our tent there will be a real artificial-turf pitch – just smaller. On both days it hosts skills contests with prizes, in age categories:

• Sniper – shooting at targets hung in the corners of the goal,
• a timed slalom with the ball between poles,
• keepy-uppy with the ball on the stick,
• for the youngest (5–7 years) something calmer: three shots at an empty goal from close range – here everyone scores and everyone leaves with a prize.

Parents – you can have a go too, nobody checks your age. And if your child has never held a stick, this is the moment.

Face a player and win one of three sticks

Around noon each day a player who competes in league hockey will appear on our pitch. The rules are simple: three shots, the player in goal. Score and you win.

On Sunday at 3 p.m. we will draw three field hockey sticks. The draw is held only among people present at the stand at the time of the draw – you have to be there to win.

For every visitor: free cold water and FHZ souvenir stickers.
