That post divides bags into four kinds and gives packing lists for training and for a tournament. Here we go down to specific products: hockey stick bags in our range are nineteen models from five brands, from a stick sleeve for PLN 87 to a combo bag and a goalkeeper bag. We show what the product pages say about capacity and dimensions, which models have room for three or four sticks, what to buy a child for their first season, what to take to a tournament and how a backpack differs from a combo bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bag data comes from the product pages in our shop as of October 2026, and the prices from product pages checked on 3 November 2026. We give capacity, dimensions and the number of sticks only where the manufacturer wrote them on the product page; for the other models we say outright that the page does not give them. Check the product page for current colours, availability and prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four kinds of bag, nineteen models<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The division from the base post into sleeve, combo bag, backpack and special bag matches what is in the range. In the shop data the nineteen models fall into these groups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Stick sleeves (stickbags), five models<\/strong> \u2013 TK4 Stick Bag, TK3 Stick Bag, TK Ultra 1 Stick Bag, Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Medium and Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Large.<\/li><li><strong>Combo bags and large kit bags, seven models<\/strong> \u2013 Mission Combo Bag and Tactic Combo Bag by Ritual, Grays Alpha-X Kitbag, and Gryphon Dannie-D, Gryphon Finnie-F, Gryphon Sammie-S and Gryphon Mini Freddie-MF.<\/li><li><strong>Backpacks, four models<\/strong> \u2013 Ritual Covert Backpack, TK Deluxe Backpack, TK6 Backpack and Gryphon Freddie-F.<\/li><li><strong>Special bags, three models<\/strong> \u2013 TK5 Goalie Bag for the goalkeeper, Gryphon Billie Ball Bag for balls and Gryphon Charlie Coach Bag for the coach.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the models except the Gryphon Billie Ball Bag are labelled on the product page for play on grass and indoors; the ball bag is labelled Outdoor. Prices start at PLN 87 for the TK4 Stick Bag and go up to PLN 689 for the Mission Combo Bag in its basic variant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stick sleeves: from the basic TK4 to the Osaka Pro Tour Large<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sleeve is a bag for a stick alone or for a few sticks: it protects them from knocks and damp on the way to training, and the larger models hold kit too. The three TK sleeves have only colours and a description of stick protection on their product pages; the two Osaka sleeves have full data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>TK4 Stick Bag<\/strong> \u2013 according to the product page, the basic stick bag in the TK range, colour black. Price PLN 87.<\/li><li><strong>TK3 Stick Bag<\/strong> \u2013 colours black and turquoise; the product page speaks of protecting sticks from knocks and damp. Price PLN 173.<\/li><li><strong>TK Ultra 1 Stick Bag<\/strong> \u2013 from the Ultra series, colour black, the same function according to the product page. Price PLN 412.<\/li><li><strong>Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Medium<\/strong> \u2013 capacity 33 litres, dimensions 102 x 20 x 16.5 cm, holds up to three sticks. Body reinforced with DURAPRO tarpaulin, base of 1680D Ballistic Weave Polyester, top, middle and bottom zipped compartments, a side mesh pocket for a bottle, a waterproof top pocket for valuables, backpack straps and a side handle. The manufacturer aims it at players carrying two or three sticks and basic kit for training. Colours black and navy. Price PLN 474.<\/li><li><strong>Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Large<\/strong> \u2013 capacity 48 litres, dimensions 102 x 24 x 20 cm, holds up to four sticks together with match kit. The same materials as the Medium version, double backpack straps, a waterproof top zip and a side mesh pocket. According to the product page, for players who play regularly and carry several sticks and kit for training and matches. Colours black and navy. Price PLN 603.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between the two Osaka sleeves the difference is 15 litres of capacity, one more stick and 4 cm of width at the same length of 102 cm. For the three TK sleeves the product page gives neither dimensions nor the number of sticks, so if you carry two sticks and shoes, ask us before buying which of them will hold that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Combo bags and large kit bags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A combo bag combines a stick compartment with space for shoes and match kit in one body. According to the Ritual product pages, this layout separates the sticks from the rest of the kit, which keeps packing in order and protects the stick heads from rubbing against shoes; the format is heavier to carry than a backpack but has more capacity. The range has two Ritual combo bags and one large Grays bag with full data, plus four Gryphon bags for which the product page gives only colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Mission Combo Bag (Ritual)<\/strong> \u2013 combo type, a separate stick compartment, space for shoes and match kit; according to the product page, for players carrying more than one stick and full kit. Colours white, black, orange. Price from PLN 689 depending on the variant.<\/li><li><strong>Tactic Combo Bag (Ritual)<\/strong> \u2013 the same combo type, described as an alternative to the Mission model in the same class of bags. Colours white, black, navy, orange. Price from PLN 517 depending on the variant.<\/li><li><strong>Grays Alpha-X Kitbag<\/strong> \u2013 a large bag measuring 100 x 32 x 28 cm with a separate compartment for up to four sticks, a large main compartment for kit and pockets for shin guards, clothing and shoes. It has a padded pocket for valuables and a detachable backpack with a laptop sleeve; double padded straps. Colours black and grey. Price PLN 410.<\/li><li><strong>Gryphon Dannie-D<\/strong> (colours black, ice blue, sage, PLN 517), <strong>Gryphon Finnie-F<\/strong> (black, ice blue, PLN 366), <strong>Gryphon Sammie-S<\/strong> (black, a compact bag according to the product page, PLN 647) and <strong>Gryphon Mini Freddie-MF<\/strong> (black, ice blue, a compact bag for basic kit, from PLN 216) \u2013 kit bags for transport and storage; the product pages give neither dimensions nor the number of sticks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The product pages of both Ritual combo bags give neither the number of sticks nor dimensions, so we do not compare them in this respect with the Osaka sleeves and the Grays bag. If you want to know whether three sticks and leg guards will fit, write to us and we will measure the bag in the showroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Backpacks: for training and school<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hockey backpack is a backpack for kit, shoes and accessories, handy on the way to school and training when there is little kit; whether and how it carries a stick, the product pages of the four models in the range do not say. There are four models in the range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ritual Covert Backpack<\/strong> \u2013 a kit backpack in orange; according to the product page it lets you carry kit comfortably on your back. Price PLN 349.<\/li><li><strong>TK Deluxe Backpack<\/strong> \u2013 according to the product page it holds kit, shoes and small accessories for training and matches, solidly made for everyday carrying. Colours black and navy. Price PLN 260.<\/li><li><strong>TK6 Backpack<\/strong> \u2013 holds kit, footwear and accessories; the product page stresses comfort on the back. Colours black and navy. Price PLN 195.<\/li><li><strong>Gryphon Freddie-F<\/strong> \u2013 described in the shop data as a hockey backpack for every level, colour black. Price PLN 388.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of the four product pages says how the backpack holds the stick (a tunnel, straps) or how long a stick will fit. With a stick of 36.5 inches or longer it is worth checking before buying; with junior sticks of 28\u201334 inches the problem is smaller, because the stick is shorter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special bags: goalkeeper, balls, coach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>TK5 Goalie Bag<\/strong> \u2013 a goalkeeper bag which, according to the product page, holds a goalkeeper\u2019s full set of kit: protectors and equipment on the way to training and matches. Colour black. Price PLN 520. What goes into a goalkeeper set and how much room it takes, we described in the post on <a href=\"\/en\/sprzet-bramkarski-od-zera-jak-skompletowac-zestaw\/\">goalkeeper kit from scratch<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Gryphon Billie Ball Bag<\/strong> \u2013 a ball bag, according to the product page for coaches and clubs; it keeps a supply of balls in order and carries them to training and matches. Price PLN 151.<\/li><li><strong>Gryphon Charlie Coach Bag<\/strong> \u2013 a coach\u2019s bag for the kit and accessories needed at sessions and matches. Price PLN 560.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nineteen models in one table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cCapacity and dimensions\u201d column shows only data from the product page; \u201cnot on product page\u201d means the manufacturer did not give them. Three zipped compartments and a bottle pocket: stick, shoes and shin guards for training, with no room for large items.<\/li><li><strong>Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Large<\/strong> \u2013 up to 4 sticks, 48 litres, 102 x 24 x 20 cm. According to the product page it holds sticks together with match kit, that is what a player takes to a match: shoes, protection, a glove, a change of shirt.<\/li><li><strong>Grays Alpha-X Kitbag<\/strong> \u2013 up to 4 sticks in a separate compartment, 100 x 32 x 28 cm, which is wider and deeper than both Osakas at a similar length. A large main compartment plus pockets for shin guards, clothing and shoes, and a detachable backpack with a laptop sleeve; a format for a tournament with an overnight stay, or for the commute when classes follow training.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The length of 100\u2013102 cm in these three models is more than the length of a senior 37.5-inch stick, which converts to around 95 cm. A junior stick of 28\u201334 inches leaves even more spare room in such a bag. Which sticks and lengths we have in the range, you can see in the category <a href=\"\/en\/sklep\/kije\/\">outdoor and indoor hockey sticks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which bag for whom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A bag for a child\u2019s first season<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a first season a child carries one stick, shin guards, shoes and a bottle. From the data in our range, a stick sleeve plus a backpack for the rest suits this. The cheapest sleeve is the TK4 Stick Bag at PLN 87, the next the TK3 Stick Bag at PLN 173 in black or turquoise. Of the backpacks the cheapest is the TK6 Backpack at PLN 195, which according to the product page holds kit, footwear and accessories. Whether any of the backpacks will also carry the child\u2019s stick has to be checked on the specific model, because the product pages do not say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combo bags and the Grays Alpha-X Kitbag are a format for a full tournament kit; for a child with one stick and a pair of shoes it makes sense when they go to their first tournament with two sticks and a change of clothes, not at the start. What to buy a child before their first season at all, we cover in a separate post on starter kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A bag for a tournament and a weekend<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tournament list from the base post (two sticks, a spare grip and tape, two pairs of socks, a change of shirt, both pairs of shoes, a hoodie, water, snacks, a first-aid kit) needs a bag with room for sticks, shoes and clothes. The product pages of the TK sleeves and the backpacks give no capacity, so we do not rule those models out, but without trying them it cannot be settled. With data on the product page, that leaves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Large<\/strong> \u2013 if you want to carry everything on your back: 48 litres, up to 4 sticks, backpack straps, PLN 603.<\/li><li><strong>Mission Combo Bag or Tactic Combo Bag<\/strong> \u2013 if you prefer a bag with a separate stick compartment and room for shoes, in a choice of colours; from PLN 689 and from PLN 517.<\/li><li><strong>Grays Alpha-X Kitbag<\/strong> \u2013 if at a tournament you also need a backpack for a laptop or personal things: a large bag with a detachable backpack, PLN 410.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A goalkeeper packs separately: for the full set of leg guards, kickers and helmet the range includes the TK5 Goalie Bag, because according to the product page it holds a goalkeeper\u2019s full set; whether the set will go into a combo bag, the product pages do not settle. For an indoor tournament add indoor shoes, and shirts and hoodies to change into can be found in the category <a href=\"\/en\/sklep\/odziez\/\">hockey clothing<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caring for the bag and what is in it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A hockey bag works in the rain, on wet turf and in the changing room. The Osaka product pages list DURAPRO tarpaulin and the 1680D base as resistance to water and abrasion when the bag is carried over wet turf, but even such a bag needs a few habits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>after training take out wet things and leave the compartments open to dry; a damp, closed bag starts to smell,<\/li><li>once a month empty all the pockets, because sand from the turf and bits of tape collect in them,<\/li><li>do not leave the bag with a stick in a hot car or in frost; what that does to a stick, we described in a separate post on stick care,<\/li><li>clean zips and velcro of sand,<\/li><li>wash only as the manufacturer\u2019s label allows.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to wash and dry the rest of the kit, so that the bag does not take on the smell of shin guards and glove, we described in the post on <a href=\"\/en\/pranie-suszenie-i-przechowywanie-sprzetu-hokejowego\/\">washing, drying and storing kit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to choose a bag in four steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Step 1: how many sticks.<\/strong> One stick \u2013 a TK sleeve (a backpack only if you check that it will carry the stick). Two or three \u2013 Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Medium. Four \u2013 Osaka Pro Tour Stickbag Large or Grays Alpha-X Kitbag. For the Ritual and Gryphon bags the number of sticks is not on the product page, so ask.<\/li><li><strong>Step 2: what besides the stick.<\/strong> Only shoes and shin guards \u2013 the Osaka Medium sleeve or a backpack. Full match kit \u2013 Osaka Large, a Ritual combo or the Alpha-X. A goalkeeper set \u2013 TK5 Goalie Bag.<\/li><li><strong>Step 3: how you carry.<\/strong> On your back \u2013 a backpack or a sleeve with straps (both Osaka models have backpack straps, the Alpha-X has a detachable backpack). In your hand \u2013 a combo bag.<\/li><li><strong>Step 4: colour and price.<\/strong> Almost all models come in black; navy from Osaka and TK, orange from Ritual, ice blue and sage from Gryphon, turquoise for the TK3 Stick Bag.
